I also presented my research poster from my internship at UGA and communicated with a variety of scholars and researchers from different disciplines.

During the University of Georgia Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) in Crop Genetics and Genomics, I had the opportunity to present my research at the end-of-summer symposium. This project introduced me to plant genomics and allowed me to expand on my computational biology skill sets, and it was one of the experiences that inspired me to pursue research in bioinformatics/computational biology more seriously.
